JGA membership is increasingly being recognised by golf centres, schools and sports clubs as the hallmark of professionalism for those involved in junior golf coaching and/or organisation.
Benefits of Membership
Industry Recognised Professional Status
As a member of the Junior Golf Alliance, you’ve proven your skills and aptitudes for coaching golf to children and young people. Membership is the ‘stamp of approval’ that an increasing number of parents are looking out for when enrolling their children onto any golf tuition programme.
Because we can all benefit from a bit of advice from time to time, the Junior Golf Alliance offers its members a dedicated helpline that’s available throughout the week. From advice on dealing with challenging children (or parents) through to business development assistance – it’s quick, easy and free.
eLearning and Workshops
The Junior Golf Alliance has developed a comprehensive set of training modules dedicated to coaching golf to children and young people. Study anywhere, anytime and at your own pace via the JGA eLearning portal, or attend one of the many workshops that are staged throughout the UK. Members also receive exclusive enrolment discounts on all courses.
The JGA Community
Through the “MemberZone” section of the Junior Golf Alliance website, members become part of the JGA community. Here they can learn how other JGA members are growing their junior golf activities, learn and share best practice and communicate directly with other members. Plus, they can keep on top of wider industry news relating to junior golf.
Consultancy & Support
The Executive Board of the Junior Golf Alliance has many years experience in junior golf coaching, children’s education and business development. Members of the JGA can access their consultancy and support services, working with you to establish and develop your junior golf concepts.
Safeguarding & Child Protection
Safeguarding is a term which has a broader meaning that just “child protection” – it relates to the action taken to promote the welfare of children and protect them from harm. Members of the JGA can benefit from a comprehensive template child protection policy and assistance in establishing the necessary procedures and systems that ensures compliance with the very latest regulations.
Free eLearning Course
New members of the Junior Golf Alliance can participate in a free eLearning course entitled “Coaching Golf to Children”. The course takes approximately six hours to complete and is a great introduction to both the JGA’s approach to coaching golf to children and also our eLearning products.
